Breaza is a town located in the sub-Carpathian area, at an altitude of 380–450 m, on a terrace located at a height of 50–60 m above the Prahova riverbed. Some of the people here, have chosen to settle in a quieter area and with a cleaner environment.
This direction was perhaps a contributor factor to an increased interest in environmental issues and thus Breaza, by involving several inhabitants, proceeded to install sensors to monitor air quality. First was Dan’s:

The entire deployment and sensor installation took about 2 weeks. It was a very nice example of a community working together to keep the pollution issues under observation. The real time measurements can be viewed on www.uradmonitor.com .
