Magnasci SRL, the Romanian ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ดย  company behind the global uRADMonitor sensor network, has recently marked its ten-year milestone. Over this decade, the company has shown steady and visible progress: rapid product development, integration of advanced IoT and satellite technologies to remain competitive in a dynamic market, and continuous international expansion. Today, more than 4,000 uRADMonitor sensors were deployed in over 70 countries. In descending order of volume, the largest concentrations are found in Romania, the United States, France, Germany, Australia and Ukraine, often installed in unexpected locations and delivering uninterrupted real-time data streams via terrestrial communication links or satellite.

What began as a technological opportunity build upon a hobby – the first uRADMonitor system, a fully automated IoT-based radiation monitor , has evolved into a portfolio of more than twelve products, each designed for distinct scenarios and applications, including fixed air quality stations, portable monitors, industrial systems, and satellite-connected modules. The network has also been recognized academically: multiple peer-reviewed studies and scientific papers use uRADMonitor data, highlighting its value in research, education, and municipal monitoring projects.

Upon reaching its ten-year anniversary, in an unexpected coincidence, the company received two significant awards from CCIR and CCIAT, acknowledging its achievements and reinforcing its trajectory for the years ahead. Beyond awards, uRADMonitor has contributed to international research collaborations, local environmental awareness projects, and the development of a global community of users and scientists, demonstrating its real-world impact in both technological and societal contexts.
