    Hi David,

    with all these long term data sets, we should start generating some stats showing the extremes on the long term run 🙂 It seems Waheed has his unit indoors for now, but hopefully he’ll move it outside just to give it some extra exposure.

    That looks great David. All the code and details would make a good topic for a dedicated blog post, would you be interested in writing one? It’s a better way to share interesting things then this forum, where the high number of topics tend to cover previous entries. I think your account has the right privileges already.

    Checking the data at highest resolution shows a single minute entry going up to maximum. This is an error and should be discarded.

    Hello Markus,

    Some stations went offline, as their owners powered them down. There is nothing we can do about that.

    The new website will support notifications, including for indicating when a station is down. Hopefully this will help increase the percentage of online stations, by informing the owners when a unit is off.

    Hello Waheed, and welcome!

    The units have been tested to function in a -20°C to +60°C temperature interval (-4°F to 140°F).

    Direct sun exposure must be avoided, as that can increase the temperature even further. A metallic shield can be used, to block sunlight but allow air to pass.

    Starting with firmware v112, the DS18B20 resolution has been set to 10bit. That is 0.25degrees steps

    Hopefully we’ll get some coverage in Ukraine as well, especially after the crowd funding I’m planning for this year – in an effort to lower costs and expand coverage.

    Server load is also becoming an issue.

    A very nice tool! Nox, did you consider releasing it as open source? The main reason for that is helping the development move further faster. It’s a nice tool, but I can’t run it as I don’t use Windows . And would love to see it ported to other OS-es.
