ParticipantThis is a known issue but no action is taken by Radu.
If you read this Radu, please look into it. Otherwise I will consider to stop feeding data into your platform, and I -will- document the reason why on my weblog.

ParticipantI have tested your fix but unfortunately it creates a new issue, the map moves as the “false” location is updated repeatedly. So now my Smoggie dances all over Utrecht 😁
My idea of hiding the precise location is to place them in a virtual grid and snap any unit to the grid it is located in.
A simpler fix is to randomize only once if the box is ticked.
Maybe it’s also an idea to have some kind of issue tracker. The online dashboard looks great but as software and hardware gets more complex issues have to be tracked and eventually solved.

ParticipantCan I expect any of this features to be implemented any time? Especially the location, I am considering to just move them into some random location in my town.

ParticipantYou are paying a fee for the logging archive Radu keeps. I don’t agree with it completely either but you are free to log the data yourself for indefinite periods.
I grab the CPM data from a model A and publish it to a mqtt topic. Pimatic automagically makes a graph of it. But you could just as well scrape the webpage of any of the Uradmonitor products and log or broadcast it in any way you want, CSV, mqtt, database…
I do find it a bit odd that the logged data on the website is declared to be under some copyright. That is like saying Sony owns the copyright to all the pictures I made with my A7ii camera.
I don’t mind that archives are kept and made accessible for a fee but I can also withhold the data by firewalling the the units I own and there will likely not be any consequence for that.Johan
ParticipantHi, I am Johan and I own 1100005B (Model A) and 16000025 (Smoggie). I live in the Netherlands. Detection and measurements is one of my hobbies. I own several geiger counters, have a gamma spectrometry setup and mess a bit with electronics and recently, 3d printing.
I run http://www.dynode.nl which has a collection of articles on radiation detection and I set up the FB group Radiation Nuts for anyone interested in radiation detection.

ParticipantMy unit 16000025 displays the Romanian flag for some reason. My existing unit 1100005B shows the correct NL flag. Can it be changed?
