Hi,
Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. My Smoggie does also not always display values on its local webpage. You need to keep the webpage open and look (it updates itself frequently).
Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi,
I can confirm that too. My KIT1 is also showing that crap 🙁
The map does need some major TLC, there are several bugs:
– it does not show some available sensors
– it has problems if you have 2 or more sensors at the same location when you switch between values from one sensor to another (e.g. radiation to PM)
– wrong values (this issue)
– does not properly show sensors when “show offline” is not selected
– zooming into a graph via dragging over the desired interval moves whole graph windowCheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi,
I think the power supply failed slowly. Can you try another one to see if your Smoggie boots up?
Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi Matthew,
Great you got it to work! Thanks for the feedback!
Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi Matthew,
I think the unit should be mounted outdoors. It comes in a nice case which makes it easy to put in a place where the sun will not heat it up.
I’m not sure what the problem is with the IP, though. Just sign it up to your Wifi network, your router/access point wll give it IP and DNS addresses automatically. You need to reboot the Smoggie to get the new settings to work.
If you want to have a fixed IP, which is convenient if you want to routinely check the unit, then set the Smoggies MAC to a fixed IP on your access point.I’ve got my SMOGGIE a few weeks ago, and it was easy to set it up that way.
It is mounted outside.Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi cristianst85,
Thanks for the feedback, great to hear you are already working on it.
I’d happily test a prototype with my setup if you like.Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi cristianst85,
I love your uRADMonitorX tool! It would be even better if it could use more sensors. I have 2, a KIT1 and a SMOGGIE.
Do you think that’s possible?Thanks a lot,
WolferlWolferlModeratorGreat you got it work again!
Thanks for the feedback!Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorI’m sorry that you’re experiencing problems.
To me your description sounds like the power supply could be bad. The power supply delivered with your A3 should read 9 volts.
Do you have any possibility to check that?
You have mounted the antenna on your A3 correctly, right?
If the issue still persists, you need to contact Radu directly.
It could be that Romanian citizens are still in Corona virus lockdown and he can’t access his company emails.Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi,
I don’t really know much about the A3. Usually they work very reliably.
Have you recently used another access point?
What happens if try to reboot your Wifi access point, when the connection hangs again?
Can you try with a different Wifi network if the same problem happens there too?Just some ideas…
Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi there,
It would help if you tell us the sensor model and unit ID…
Cheers,
WolferlWolferlModeratorHi,
There has been some serious spamming on this forum the last days. Maybe your post has been accidentially removed in the process of cleaning up.
Please repost!Cheers,
