It seems the Australian Sun is a bit harsh on the equipment. I have moved house and when I took down my monitor from the old place this is what it looked like.
Don’t forget to change location using the Dashboard.
Once I find it a new location for it I will.
Also an idea for a variant on the unit. Swap out the ethernet module for an ESP8266 acting as a wifi adapter
A3 already has built in wifi, also LoraWAN and GSM. There’s also Ethernet, so A3 offers 4 connectivity options for the same sensors, see https://www.uradmonitor.com/products/ , A3 tab.
For model A, you can use a small wifi router as an Ethernet to wifi adapter, many went this way, here’s an example:
