uRADMonitorKeymaster
hi Adam,
You can send it back via http://www.uradmonitor.com/rma
Before you do that, try to see if you can get the USB commands working. I am especially interested in seeing the “default” command working on your unit, to restore it to factory default. See: https://www.uradmonitor.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/uRADMonitor_USB_commands_comp.pdf
uRADMonitorKeymasterThank you for the feedback. Indeed, the current batch of 5V USB adapters might not be the best one. We will use something better next.
uRADMonitorKeymasterSorry for that. Yes, this is under developement and hope to see it soon. You’ll be able to setup notifications from http://www.uradmonitor.com/dashboard in your account, including when the unit detects some predefined values, etc.
uRADMonitorKeymasterYes, Wolferl is right, those spikes pushed the diagram too much.

uRADMonitorKeymasterThe picture is new on a production unit. The manufacturer produces this variant for uRADMonitor.
uRADMonitorKeymasterYes, but only with a firmware update . This feature is implemented in code, but not activated on production firmware.
uRADMonitorKeymasterLook what I was able to come up with: https://www.uradmonitor.com/a-tutorial-how-to-compile-kit1-firmware-on-a-windows-machine/
uRADMonitorKeymasterhello Ken,
I am glad you fixed it successfully.
The PM sensor must not be mounted on top of the PCB,
instead it must go through the PCB in the designated area. Basically it fills the entire aluminium enclosure height, going through the PCB.
Here’s a picture:

uRADMonitorKeymasterHow can I help? Yup, email is my fav option.
uRADMonitorKeymasterhi Catalin, seems something went wrong when provisioning your unit with the custom firmware . I will get back to you with the correct firmware on email. It’s very easy to program it, here are 2 tutorials:
uRADMonitorKeymasterHello Sean,
Yes, you can set linear offsets to Temp and humidity via USB . There will be a manual for that soon, as it requires a few steps to do it.
uRADMonitorKeymasterThanks for your efforts, Ken . Is there any chance you can send it to a friend just to give it a run on a different provider / connection ?
uRADMonitorKeymasterThe A3 has an internal switching DC-DC converter to drop the voltage down to 5V from whatever you feed it with in the interval 6V to 24V (it can go up to 28V but it is not safe).
uRADMonitorKeymasterMilibars and temperature in F are to be added to the dashboard for the next update.
