  • Thanks Radu, appreciated!

    I will have to disassemble it anyways soon to update the firmware you had sent me earlier so I will post more pictures here.
    To be continued…

    @Martin;
    Thank you so much for your efforts!
    Something I would really appreciate to use, thanks!

    I tried running your tool with the latest version of BitBar, nowadays called XBar? (v2.0.42-beta) but this version supposedly has a bug that it does not allow for a space in the folder-name. 🙁
    And on my macOS Mojave, this version of BitBar always points to the folder “/Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/xbar/plugins” where thus the “Application Support” is the culprit for that current version of XBar.

    But running the unmodified script you have supplied also throws some (for me) cryptic errors already, see attached screenshot.

    May I ask what version of BitBar (and/or XBar) I can best run to use this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Radu,
    In my case it would be modifying an existing Model A3.4, if possible.
    As some kind of “in-service” indicator. (thus flashing instead of making the clicking-sound)

    Unfortunately the link to the eBay listing is a dead-end as it is too long ago and no history shown, so I can’t see the technical details (impedance, load etc) of that piezo buzzer.

    Old topic, I know, but would a (weather-proof) LED also be possible?

    Hello World!

    I’m Rob, from Hoevelaken in the Netherlands (to some Dutch it will be a very famous name) and have been into electronics for really decades.
    I like to tinker, observe and see if things can be improved and/or find out how they work.
    Science, in the broadest sense, has always fascinated me.

    Whilst my education was deep into electronics since day-one, many, many moons ago, I always had an omni-interest in anything technical.
    So a full-blown geek-guy, now at age.

    One of my many interests includes our environment.
    Where I run a weather station hooked into our national network, sharing various local weather parameters.
    And radiation was one long on my list (also due to some background) but said vendor never got around for developing as such.
    Until I ran across the uRADMonitor and recently obtained one. (unit #110000B6)

    My current occupation, also for many years now, is in security.

    I hope my unit & I can contribute in having more coverage of monitoring.

    I do want to thank Radu for this dream-project & everybody else for their input.

    Being new to all of this, I found the information shared very useful.
    Especially about the Passive Power Injector, really appreciated!

    As sharing=caring;
    I also got some inspiration about the mounting & placement of the uRADMonitor model A, looking at what other members have been using so far.

    Allow me to share my installation, inside a Davis Instruments box.
