I just installed a new A3 (https://www.uradmonitor.com/?open=82000092) device and have it up an running. One odd thing I noticed is that the temperature and humidity as reported on the local IP web interface is different than what is recorded online. For example I get the following from the local interface:

    uRADMonitor 82000092
    type:8 hw:105 sw:126 SI29BG
    radiation:5CPM
    temperature:41.39C
    pressure:97625Pa
    humidity:11.00RH
    VOC:118875
    noise:66
    CH2O:0.00ppm
    PM2.5:5ug/m^3
    CO2:1457ppm
    voltage:383V
    duty:22%
    frequency:15.50kHz
    uptime:16415s wdt:32s/350s

    ip:192.168.72.150
    server:45.79.179.145
    interval:60 http:200 272/272

Yet when you go to the website to see the same data, for that timestamp you see a recorded temp of 32C, and a humidity of ~30%. (which is about correct) Is there a bug in the local display that incorrectly prints the temperature and humidity? The other data elements all seem to match up just fine.

    Hi Jeff,

It’s no bug, but the server does additional compensation over the measured data. Here, the internal heating of the electronics produces a drift. Therefore, the correct info is displayed on the server. The best way to get the data is via the server API, presented ni the Dashboard.

In later firmware versions, the local data is set to match the server data. Would you like to update your unit’s firmware? It’s easy, see: https://www.uradmonitor.com/uradmonitor-model-a3-firmware-upgrade/

Could you publish such an update for SMOGGIE too? Getting a quick temperature read from a mobile phone is a lot more convenient with a local http request since the /tools/dashboard view is not very mobile friendly. Calling the API requires authentication and I doubt I can do that from Safari.

+1 for an updated firmware for the Smoggie-PM. Having an accurate temperature available directly from the device would be much nicer.

Thanks, I will see how this can be done for future releases.
