ModeratorMore of my CPMs in Salto. Did anyone else record a big spike?

ModeratorAwesome, cool, Radu! Thanks for being so responsive and helpful.

ModeratorHi Radu, is there a way we can find on the map stations by their ID number? For example – Painter’s discussion about emel’s 13000210 request got me wondering if 1) there was anything I could do to help as a moderator and 2) where emel is on the map… maybe a search function where we enter the ID (user name or number) and the result is that the user’s “status” (screenshot) pops up for us to see their data.
Thanks!

ModeratorAh, thanks for the tech details, Conundrum. I’m not a techie, so, a lot of that goes over my head, but should be helpful for those trying to figure out the offline and other issues.

ModeratorIs it possible that “bad tubes” would explain why some units show as consistently offline on the map? ~ Pia

ModeratorIt is curious. I unchecked the “show offline” command and more grey offline and online sites appeared. One in Japan shows September chart, states is online, but is a grey diamond on the map. Others that are grey, show as offline for status. For some reason, mine was interrupted and showed offline and came back online when I unplugged then plugged back in the unit’s electrical cable. That isn’t accessible to the cats (who are inside at night) so the cause of the interruption is unknown.
Each of the screenshots below are of units that show as grey diamonds on the map.
I wonder if all sites have residents in attendance keeping track of their units… maybe an email reaching out to all monitor owners (group email) to find out if everyone is still actively tending to their units would help. ~ Pia

ModeratorVery cool.

ModeratorI understand – it’s difficult to learn and adapt to new methods when you’ve been immersed in another system your whole life. I still think in terms of US measurements and do the conversions when I need to discuss purchases or work projects. For me, it’s a small inconvenience.

ModeratorHi Anthony, his isn’t the answer you seek but, after living in Latin America for some years and traveling in Europe a little, I’ve become used to the fact that most people in the world understand temperature degrees in Celsius. Conversion charts are available online, here is one that includes the conversion formulas for Fahrenheit and Kelvin.

ModeratorData downloads and graphing all functional now! Thank you, Radu!

ModeratorHi skyline-stu – I couldn’t figure out how to place my unit on the map either – Radu explained that the values in the dashboard can be changed. You can get your longitude /latitude here: http://www.latlong.net/ (if you don’t already have it, then input).

ModeratorI look forward to the answer re: data not storing, also. Not sure what it would require of me if it is a “local”issue.

ModeratorAs of 08:15 UY (11:15 UTC) still empty downloads and no data graphing…
