    I have monitored ping times during a reboot, and they are usually between about 50mS and 200mS without any obvious drops. Simiarly, traceroute didn’t show an obvious problem.

    How can I disable the 4 minute reset?

    Ok, that makes sense. How do I disable this 4 minute timeout? or change it to something longer? My internet connection is slow, so perhaps 4 minutes is overly optimistic.

    OTOH, 4 minutes is a long time, so maybe there are connectivity problems elsewhere. What is the IP that is being checked? I’d like to monitor ping and traceroute to see if there is a correlation with the reboots (because I haven’t noticed any problems using other parts of the internet during these times).

    How is it determined if the “net is down for more than 4 minutes”?

    I’m polling the unit every 20-30 seconds over the LAN and that works fine with no gaps until the reboot happens. In the logs I pasted to the forum, you can see the timestamps:

    Sat Mar 25 02:32:26 EDT 2017
    {“data”:{ “id”:”11000103″,”type”:”1″,”detector”:”SBM20″,”voltage”:378,”cpm”:14,”temperature”:30.25,”uptime”: 1026}}
    Sat Mar 25 02:32:53 EDT 2017
    {“data”:{ “id”:”11000103″,”type”:”1″,”detector”:”SBM20″,”voltage”:376,”cpm”:0,”temperature”:30.25,”uptime”: 15}}

    Poll at 02:32:26 . Reboot about 12 seconds later. Poll at 02:32:53.

    There was no loss of LAN connectivity.

    I have removed the back plate so that the power cable seats easily. Still rebooting, so it’s not a loose connection.
    I have also replaced the USB brick with another 5V 1A model. Still rebooting.

    I don’t think it is related to the cable, since the box is not being moved, but it keeps rebooting. Here are some logs from the past day highlighting reboots:

    It doesn’t look like it can stay up for more than an hour, on average.
