found unusual radiation spikes today on Unit 8200007B (2-4 µSv/h, has it something to do with the downtime on the server website, or ?

can rule out server glitches, found this graph on my home system (in cpm), so is it real radiation or a hardware malfunction ?

We’ll need to keep an eye on this. Spikes can be triggered by high energy cosmic radiation, but technical issues (related to the compensation capacitor) can also do this.

Thanks for the reply, I was going in that direction of a hardware fault, will see if there is somewhere a capacitor in the junkbox… just in case …
