    Hi

I recently upgraded the firmware, and the unit has been online for a while now:

    uRADMonitor 11000016
    type:1 hw:108 sw:110 SBM-20radiation:21CPM
    average:28.06CPM
    temperature:28.38C

    voltage:385V (48%)
    uptime:261701s
    wdt:204s

    ip:10.47.243.228
    server:23.239.13.18
    http:0JSON

    My URL:

    Home

    The value is around: 0.18uSv/h

But the value seems high. Compare with the official readings of Oslo:
    http://radnett.nrpa.no/?id=215049
Which is always around 0,10 µSv/h

The unit is currently in 5th floor of a brick office building. I don’t know of any nuclear devices in the vicinity. =)

Lars, I see the increase dates back to Feb 20:

    https://www.uradmonitor.com/data/0.1/public.php?id=11000016&param=cpm&start=25&size=xxlarge&integration=3

    What changed at that point?

    Hi

Update with new programmer (same one as in blog) went without a hitch. My node is up and reporting again.

    Hi Lars,

What’s strange about it is that also the duty cycle has increased:
    https://www.uradmonitor.com/data/0.1/public.php?id=11000016&param=duty&start=25&size=xxlarge&integration=3

Did you change the power supply or the power supply cable?

EDIT: I found the answer, it was the temperature that caused the duty cycle increase: the higher temperature levels affected the permeability of the ferrite core in the high voltage inverter, resulting in the higher duty cycle:
    https://www.uradmonitor.com/data/0.1/public.php?id=11000016&param=temp&start=25&size=xxlarge&integration=3

Still, I don’t know what’s causing the increase in readings, but I will think more about it.

Ok. Trying another PSU now, just to check.

From yesterday evening it has been back in my apartment, running on yet another PSU. Slightly lower reading, but still way above the official readings for Oslo.
