    I messaged the owner but failed to get a reply so far. I suspect a technical issue, perhaps something related to the geiger tube.

    Definitely we need some better communication tools for the community.

    Will let you know as soon as I have news.

    It’s confirmed that the unit is broken. The ANVS (Dutch authority on nuclear safety and radiation protection) figured this out with Radu and the owner.

    I have unit 8200007B and high radiation values at low temperatures.
    it first appeared last winter and now it is starting again 🙁
    (did not investigate it further, perhaps some component is malfuntioning at low temperature, unit is mounted outdoors)

    Hello Luc,

    I can only think of some excess condensation taking place. Do you have access to the unit to check how it stands?

    Other than that, it can also be a tube failure, in which case I will need to service your unit.

    hey, I was just curious about radiation maps and found these (staggering) measures. I found these remarks after having searched for a while. I was 5 min. away from contacting the Fanc, and they are quite serious about these things… Could you contact the owner to ask if he could get the device offline, or at least get it checked? Otherwise it brings the whole credibility of uRADMonitor down. Cheers.

    Hello Fenix, can you provide the Device ID of the unit you are referring two? There are thousands of units out there.

    sorry @radu (you’re right @Wolferl), just saw your message now. Indeed it’s about sensor 8200007B, still reading 2.47µSv/h.
