My Smoggie does the same thing. I’d really like to remove that default Wifi network when the Smoggie is connected to an Wifi access point.

This is a known issue but no action is taken by Radu.
If you read this Radu, please look into it. Otherwise I will consider to stop feeding data into your platform, and I -will- document the reason why on my weblog.
