Hello, I am trying to make a probe with 10m ordinary cable with anode resistance with GM tube. Cathode connection with cathode resistor on board. I have connected compensation capacitor as well. The unit works fine indoors, but outside due to some motors , solenoids etc, noise pickup problem is there. The circuit is enclose in metal box.
    SHall I use coaxial-cable ?
shall i prevent wire loop coil and keep it straight ?
Any other protection to avoid external noises?

You definitely need to use coaxial cable, and one that works with high voltage. Can you share a few photos?
