Right now, that is not possible yet. It makes no sense, since for the first setup you cannot use an AP (it is not setup yet) you need to use your Wifi phone or tablet to connect and setup. These devices usually have no DHCP server. Thats why the Smoggie has a fixed 192.168.4.1 address.
After setup, since you usually use an AP (access point, Wifi router) to connect it to the internet, and the Smoggie uses DHCP, you can assign any IP you want on the DHCP-Server.
My Smoogie is configured that way and it works fine.
