Thanks for the update. I am an avid documentary follower on Chernobyl. You don’t hear much about it these days, but few people realize that Sr-90 and Cs-137 have approx 30 year half-lives and there is still much danger in the “exclusion zone”.

I have been trying to follow the progress of the new arch that is going to go over the old and decaying sarcophagus, but you don’t hear much about that. You can see the construction efforts of it on Google Earth, but I can’t seem to find out just how close the project is to completion.

What solution there is for Fukushima remains to be seen.
