Nevermind. My bad. It just teleported to Toronto. Can you move it back to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada? Thanks.

The unit moved because the coordinates were reset to default (based on IP).

I set them to Dartmouth again. If you also know the altitude, please add it here.

    Thanks!

Huh. NSA/CSE must be redirecting all my IP traffic through their Toronto creeping facility.

Okay so the exact coordinates including elevation are as follows:

    Lat: 44.8032452
    Long: -63.38680029
    Elevation: 45m

The detector is mounted as true to your recommendations as I could get it, but unfortunately it is somewhat close (~50 cm) to a poured foundation wall. Should I move it? I can easily, that’s no big deal. But if I do, it’ll have to go higher.

If you can have it installed 1m above ground, yes it would be better. Elevation and coordinates added. Thanks!

It’s a raised foundation. It’s currently installed at 1m above the ground. I was just concerned about the proximity to concrete (concrete is typically slightly radioactive, or so I hear). I could move it away from the concrete, but I would have to violate the 1m guideline. Okay so I’ll leave it right where it is. Thanks.

This is easy to spot and a fun experiment: Just move it aside from the concrete and leave it for 2 days. Then use the charts on the portal to compare the averaged readings (using the Week timeframe).
