yes its up and running now, I have moved it between 2 different switches and experienced the same drop, both link lights go completely out as well as the link light on the switch. I will try a new power supply but suspect the cable that was shipped with it, its rather flimsy and has a knick in it, perhaps its faulty or damaged.

I’ll report back if it occurs again.
