I noticed that some folks have the formaldehyde sensor read zero when the level is … well … zero.
    (for example 82000108)
Mine goes not lower than 7 ppb which is kind of an odd number.
Is there some way to make it zero?
I noticed on the spec sheet that there is supposed to be a factory zero calibration. So it should read zero, no?

I have checked a couple of other units on line and they seem to have 0-10-20 ppb. Nobody has 7 except me. Is my unit defective?

7ppb is the default reading on all newer units as we switched to a different formaldehyde sensor . Please check newer ID’s, closer to yours and you will see similar readings.
