I currently poll the data from the uRAD monitor every minute into a mysql database so that I can compare the data with my weather station and other sensors.

Every now and then the uRAD seems to return a bad temp reading sometimes showing as high as 80°c+ and then returns to normal on the next read. So far I’ve just been removing the bad entries through phpmyadmin as they stand out and will eventually add something to my python polling script to just not put these entries in but was wondering what might be causing the failed readings.

I’ve attached a picture which only shows the last 5 or so days or bad entries but can clearly see the massive jumps.

    Hi David,

You’ll need to install latest firmware v113, as this bug has been fixed already.

I’m running v111. I’ll drop you an email for the firmware and update the device then.

    Thanks 🙂

Thanks David. As soon as you get the latest firmware running, let me know how it goes in regards to the issue.
