My unit 1200003F is grey on the map and doesn’t seem to be storing any data.

However, it is listed as online in the dashboard.
Unit is listed as online in the dashboard

And it seems to be running just fine (from the local network).
    Unit OK in LAN

Granted, i’m running a firewall between all of my devices and i’m behind a double NAT (unfortunately) but that said, unless i’m looking over the root cause of this problem, the configuration seems to be OK.
    No firewall violations for unit

The units has been granted DNS and HTTP access to Google DNS and both data.uradmonitor.com as well as uradmonitor.com itself.

I can’t figure out why it’s listed as online, yet isn’t storing any data.
    Please advise, thank you.

I look forward to the answer re: data not storing, also. Not sure what it would require of me if it is a “local”issue.

Thanks to your reports, problem is found and fixed. It wasn’t the frontend, it was deeper in the backend due to the automated backup script, the DB was affected.
Everything should be ok now. Please confirm.

Everything seems to be back to normal now, however i see more units on the map shown in grey but listed as online.

It is curious. I unchecked the “show offline” command and more grey offline and online sites appeared. One in Japan shows September chart, states is online, but is a grey diamond on the map. Others that are grey, show as offline for status. For some reason, mine was interrupted and showed offline and came back online when I unplugged then plugged back in the unit’s electrical cable. That isn’t accessible to the cats (who are inside at night) so the cause of the interruption is unknown.

Each of the screenshots below are of units that show as grey diamonds on the map.

I wonder if all sites have residents in attendance keeping track of their units… maybe an email reaching out to all monitor owners (group email) to find out if everyone is still actively tending to their units would help. ~ Pia

I agree, we’ll have that in place once the notifications are implemented. As a first step, all unit owners received an account here. That account will be used for the notifications.
