I’ve had 110000CB for awhile but just got around to permanently installing it on my porch today.

My house is pre-wired for Ethernet and I happen to have the Cat 6 running right where I needed it. I’m doing a PoE connection from my switch closet to the monitor. I dropped the PoE connector inside the wall and used the monitor to cover most of the large hole I created.

Since this is going on my porch and very visible, I bought some radiation stickers and a Russian high voltage sign for dramatic effect.

I noted the monitor was reading nearly 400 volts. Better add a high voltage sign. I choose a Russian one that few will be able to read. Hopefully between the scary sign and radiation sticker no one will mess with this. Might even warn off some solicitors. I tired to get it as close to the 1 meter mark as I could while still looking good next to my doorbell. Ended up at 42 inches (1.07m) high.

I’m using a Leviton Protective Cage For Occupancy Motion Sensor 6797 to protect the monitor. Fits well and was only $20 USD.

I had an assistant helping me

Hi Radu, I listed the height of my unit as meters above sea level. Is that the correct way to do it?
